Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- proficient with basic technology such as Point of Sale systems, Apple devices, and Services Booking System
- demonstrate competency in sales, products, and service
- ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- strong communication skills

- ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties
- Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty including credit, retail shrink, and omni-channel sales
- Provide exceptional guest service by acknowledging all guests in the salon, haircare, and skincare areas and offering friendly, prompt, and courteous service
- Courteously handle sales, refunds and exchanges
- Support the services team by answering salon phone calls, addressing guest concerns, managing the services booking system and salon traffic flow, and suggesting add-on services
- Build the services business by informing guests of current promotions and inviting them to try services
- Influence and support service providers in their daily appointment pages, rebooking, and new guest acquisition behaviors
- Book appointments and support in-store events that deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting sales goals
- Stay informed about new industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests
- Maintain prompt, regular attendance
- Contribute to an inclusive environment supporting teammates, peers, and guests
- Create awareness around stylists’ personal goals to drive success
- Develop guest relationships through in-person and phone interactions
- Identify guest needs through consultations
- Collaborate with managers, associates, stylists, and skin therapists to grow the business
- Establish professional peer and brand partner relationships
- Share benefits of the guest loyalty program with guests
- Attend mandatory trainings and meetings
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Adhere to Ulta Beauty’s dress code
- Support safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Recommend scheduling adjustments to maximize results
- Communicate supply needs
- Maintain store operational standards including cleanliness
- Follow loss prevention best practices
- Execute other operational tasks as directed
