Job Requirements

  • Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • reliable and prompt attendance
  • ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
  • capable of working in varying temperatures and environmental conditions such as drive-up or carryout
  • able to handle checkout operations and cash transactions accurately
  • ability to scan, handle and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • make guests aware of current promotions, store activities and events
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • thank guests and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target
  • speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-ups as needed
  • scan and bag items efficiently and accurately while complying with food safety standards
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait times while maintaining service and accuracy
  • demonstrate safe work practices and comply with all safety policies and training
  • support guest services including order pick up, drive up orders, and returns
  • maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • stock supplies during store hours
  • assist with returns and partner with leaders when needed following company policies
  • comply with federal, state and local regulations especially related to adult beverage laws
  • perform all other duties based on business needs
