Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
  • physical ability to stand or walk for the duration of the shift
  • ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
  • reliable and prompt attendance
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • basic technology skills for operating handheld scanners and other equipment
  • willingness to engage positively with guests and team members

Job Duties

  • demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store and specific to your area to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
  • thank guests and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at target
  • know and speak to the benefits of target loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
