Job Requirements

  • Able to handle cash register operations and cash transactions
  • capability to work in varying temperature and environmental conditions
  • ability to lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • reliable and prompt attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior customer service experience is a plus
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • ability to multitask and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard
  • greet all guests authentically
  • observe guest cues to tailor engagement
  • engage with guests to understand their needs
  • be knowledgeable about store tools and services to solve guest issues
  • scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
  • minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
  • promote Target loyalty programs and assist with sign-up
  • assist guests with the use of Target App features and fulfillment services
  • handle returns following company policies
  • de-escalate negative situations and recover guest experience
  • deliver service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
  • maintain clean and clutter-free work areas
  • stock supplies during store hours
  • follow safety and compliance guidelines
  • support guest service operations while maintaining compliance
  • perform other duties based on business needs
