Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in customer service or retail preferred
- ability to communicate effectively and use positive language
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand, remain mobile and perform physical tasks during shifts
- capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology devices
- adhere to safety policies and procedures
- ability to provide exceptional guest service

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to improve guest experience
- thank guests and show appreciation for their choice to shop at Target
- assist guests with loyalty program applications or sign-ups
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately while complying with safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- explain how to use Target app features including wallet
- be familiar with order pickup, drive-up, and online ordering services and help guests enroll or activate these features
- handle returns and follow register prompts while partnering with leaders to resolve issues
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while being available to assist guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- comply with safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible
- support guest services such as order pick-up, drive-up orders, and returns
- perform additional duties as needed based on business demands
