Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
ability to stand and remain mobile for entire shifts of varying lengths
capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
reliable and prompt attendance
ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
basic literacy and numeracy skills
legal authorization to work in the United States

ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail
ability and willingness to educate guests and engage around products and services
ability to operate technology equipment including handheld scanners and multi-frequency devices

capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within timeframes

Job Duties

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during tasks
engage with guests in a welcoming way to solve their needs
make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
promote and assist with enrollment in Target Loyalty programs
scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
show guests how to use Target App features including Wallet
be familiar with order pick-up, drive-up, and online ordering, and assist guests with these services
attempt every return and follow register prompts while partnering with leaders as needed
maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
work safely and report hazards
support guest services such as order pick-up and drive-up orders including compliance with beverage laws
perform all other duties based on business needs
