Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- ability to stand and remain mobile for entire shifts of varying lengths
- capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
- availability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- basic literacy and numeracy skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to solve their needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- promote and assist with enrollment in Target Loyalty programs
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- show guests how to use Target App features including Wallet
- be familiar with order pick-up, drive-up, and online ordering, and assist guests with these services
- attempt every return and follow register prompts while partnering with leaders as needed
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely and report hazards
- support guest services such as order pick-up and drive-up orders including compliance with beverage laws
- perform all other duties based on business needs
