Job Requirements

  • accurately handle checkout operations and transactions and support cash office operations as needed
  • scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving product up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without additional assistance
  • flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays with reliable and prompt attendance
  • ability to remain mobile for the entire scheduled shift, which may vary in length
  • capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing job duties including drive-up and carryout

Job Duties

  • demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
  • engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
  • inform guests about current promotions, store activities, and events
  • be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store to solve guest issues and improve their experience
  • thank guests and let them know we are happy they chose to shop at Target
  • assist guests with loyalty programs and sign-ups
  • scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
  • show guests how to use the Target app and its features including Wallet
  • be familiar with order pick-up, drive-up, and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment and usage
  • handle returns following register prompts and partner with leaders for solutions when needed
  • maintain a clean work area by gathering unpurchased items and supplies
  • stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
  • demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times
  • support guest services such as order pick-up, drive-up orders, and ensure compliance with legal requirements
  • perform other duties based on business needs
