Job Requirements

Accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity and other elements
Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

Communicating effectively including using positive language and attentive to guests needs
Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and other team members
Attention to detail while multi-tasking
Willing to educate guests and engage around products and services
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
Promote and engage around various benefits, offerings and services
Assist with application or sign-up for Target Loyalty programs
Support guest services such as order pick up, drive up and registry
Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies
