Job Requirements

- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in customer service or retail is a plus
- effective communication skills including positive language and active listening
- ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with digital tools and technology such as handheld scanners
- willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technology

Job Duties
- demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests during daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities, and events
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target
- assist guests with Target Loyalty programs including application and sign-up
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately, and according to food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
- educate guests on using Target app features such as Wallet
- be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment and activation
- process returns following register prompts and work with leaders to resolve issues
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while being available for guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance culture
- comply with all safety policies, report hazards, and correct where possible
- support guest services like order pick-up, drive-up orders, returns, and ensure compliance with related laws
- perform additional duties as needed based on business requirements
