Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to handle cash register operations and cash transactions accurately
- capability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
- physical ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and punctual attendance
- ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
- willingness to comply with safety policies and procedures
- legal authorization to work in the United States

- ability to educate and engage guests about products and services
- capability to use multiple frequency devices, handheld scanners, and other technology

- experience in customer service or retail settings preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues
- thank guests genuinely and show appreciation
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- explain Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-ups
- guide guests in using the Target app and fulfillment services
- handle returns following company policies
- partner with leaders to de-escalate issues and recover guest experience
- deliver service to order pick-up, drive-up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean, clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- adhere to ethical conduct, safety, and compliance standards
- support guest services such as order pick-up and drive-up, including compliance with laws
- perform other duties as needed based on business demands
