Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior customer service experience beneficial but not required
- ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- capable of handling cash register operations accurately
- willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand and remain mobile for entire shifts which may vary in length
- ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
- able to work in varying temperature and environmental conditions
- reliable and punctual attendance
- compliant with safety policies and ethical standards

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service experience by delivering service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting all guests authentically
- observe and understand guest needs by following verbal and body language clues
- engage guests genuinely by asking questions to understand their requirements
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- thank guests genuinely and let them know appreciation for shopping at Target
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately while complying with food safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait times while maintaining accuracy and quality
- promote current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- speak to benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
- explain and assist guests in using the Target App and Wallet features
- be familiar with and direct guests to fulfillment services including enrollment and activation
- manage returns following register prompts and company policies while partnering with leaders for issue resolution
- assist in de-escalating negative situations and recovering guest shopping experience following company policies
- deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area including gathering abandoned items
- stock supplies during store open hours while being available for guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely to benefit self and others by identifying and correcting hazards
- support guest services such as order pick up and Drive Up including compliance with relevant laws
- perform other duties based on business needs
