Job Requirements

  • Ability to accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
  • capability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements during certain job duties
  • frequently lift or move merchandise up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
  • engage with guests in a genuine way by asking questions to understand their needs
  • be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience
  • scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
  • work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and quality
  • make guests aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
  • know and speak to the benefits of Target loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
  • understand and show guests how to use Wallet and features within the Target app
  • be familiar with all fulfillment services and direct guests to enroll and use them
  • attempt every return following register prompts and partner with leaders to solve issues
  • assist in de-escalating negative situations while following policies
  • deliver service to order pickup, drive-up, and registry guests
  • maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
  • stock supplies while being available for guests
  • demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • work in a safe manner to benefit self and others
  • support guest services including order pickup and drive-up, adhering to compliance culture
  • perform all duties based on business needs
