Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively including using positive language and being attentive to guests needs
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to stand and remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- ability to operate handheld technology devices

- accurate handling of checkout transactions and cash office support

- support for order pick-up, Drive Up and other guest service functions according to company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous customer service experience beneficial but not required
- effective communication skills including positive language use
- welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- ability to educate guests about products and services
- competency in using multiple frequency devices and handheld scanners
- ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities and events
- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- thank guests and let them know Target appreciates their business
- promote and assist with Target Loyalty programs and applications
- scan and bag guest items efficiently, accurately and according to safety standards
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- educate guests on how to use the Target App features including Wallet
- be familiar with order pick-up, Drive Up and online ordering and assist guests in using these services
- handle returns according to register prompts and company policies
- maintain a clean and clutter free work area
- stock supplies during store hours and be available to assist guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely and report hazards
- support guest services such as order pick-up and Drive Up while complying with regulations
- perform other duties based on business needs
