Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- capability to handle cash register operations accurately
- physical ability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile throughout the shift duration
- basic technological proficiency to operate scanners and other equipment
- willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact and tailor your approach
- engage with guests in a genuine way, asking questions to understand their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality
- promote awareness of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- assist guests with Target Loyalty programs and digital app features
- manage returns by following register prompts and company policies
- partner with leaders to de-escalate negative situations and recover guest experiences
- deliver service to order pick up, drive-up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter free work area
- stock supplies during store open hours while remaining available for guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely and identify hazards
- support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, and returns while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws
- perform all other duties based on business needs
