Job Requirements
- Ability to accurately handle checkout operations and transactions
- capability to scan, handle and safely move merchandise including frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds without assistance
- willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to remain mobile throughout the shift
- ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- compliance with company safety policies and ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in customer service or retail helpful
- excellent communication skills including positive language and attentiveness
- ability to operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to remain focused and composed in fast-paced environments
- ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail
- willingness to engage guests and promote products and services

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- make guests aware of current promotions, store activities and events
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available to solve issues and improve guest experience
- thank guests and let them know appreciation for shopping at Target
- know and promote benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently and accurately
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- understand and show guests how to use the features and offerings within the Target App
- be familiar with order pick-up, drive up and online ordering and help guests enroll and activate these features
- handle returns following register prompts and company policies
- maintain a clean, clutter free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work safely at all times, comply with all safety policies and report hazards
- support guest services such as order pick up and drive-up orders
- perform all other duties based on business needs
