Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service preferred but not required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
  • Capability to work in varying temperatures and physical conditions
  • Ability to lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
  • Reliable and prompt attendance
  • Ability to stay mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts

  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
  • Attention to detail while multitasking
  • Willingness to educate guests and engage around products and services
  • Ability to operate handheld scanners, communicate on multiple frequency devices and other technology equipment
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality
  • Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
  • Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
  • Deliver easy and accurate service to all Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
