Job Requirements
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations and cash transactions
- Capability to work in and exposure to varying temperatures and humidity while performing job duties
- Ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

- Ability to educate guests and engage around products and services
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality
- Make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- Partner with Leaders as needed to de-escalate any negative situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Target's policies and procedures
