Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
- observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
- engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the store and specific to the area to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- thank the guest in a genuine way and express gratitude for choosing Target
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service, accuracy, and quality
- inform guests about current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events
- promote Target loyalty programs and assist with applications or sign-up as needed
- explain how to use Wallet and other features within the Target App
- be familiar with all fulfillment services and how to direct guests to enroll and use them
- handle returns following register prompts while partnering with leaders as needed
- assist in de-escalating negative situations to recover the guest shopping experience
- deliver easy and accurate service to Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available for guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance at all times
- identify and correct hazards and comply with safety policies
- support guest services such as order pickup, Drive-up orders, including Starbucks DU and DU Returns, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- perform other duties based on business needs
