Job Requirements
- Ability to accurately handle checkout operations and cash office support as needed
- ability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely including occasionally lifting up to 44 pounds

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
- be knowledgeable about the tools, products and services available in the store and your area to solve issues and improve guest experience
- thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- promote the benefits of Target loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- understand and demonstrate features of the Target app including Wallet
- be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering and assist guests with enrollment and use
- attempt every return, follow register prompts, and partner with leaders as needed while following policies and procedures
- maintain a clean, clutter free work area
- stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to guests
- demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance culture
- work safely at all times, comply with safety policies and report hazards
- support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders and returns and comply with beverage laws
- perform all other duties based on business needs
