Job Requirements

Minimum age requirement as per local law
Reliable and punctual with a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to handle cash register operations accurately
Capable of climbing ladders and performing physical tasks
Able to lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
Ability to work in various environmental conditions including temperature and humidity
Able to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
Welcoming and helpful attitude towards guests and team members
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in retail or customer service preferred but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests
Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
Capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to providing excellent guest service
Certification to operate power equipment is a plus

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to better understand their needs
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available to solve guest issues and improve experience
Thank guests genuinely and let them know we appreciate their choice to shop at Target
Help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments to keep sales floor full, zoned, and stocked
Push and stock products to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions and sales plans
Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure accurate signing
Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Support execution of major transitions and ISM
Maintain interior and exterior brand standards including cleanliness and cart maintenance
Accurately execute product pulls and backstock
Process inbound deliveries using receive application
Complete daily and weekly backroom audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and follow equipment guidelines
Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Work safely and identify hazards
Support guest services like back-up cashier, order pickup, and Drive-up
Perform all other duties as needed
