Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
Work both independently and with a team
Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
Ability to follow multi-step processes with attention to detail
Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Climb up and down ladders
Lift or move merchandise up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance
Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Reliable and prompt attendance
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Experience with retail technology such as handheld scanners preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to operate power equipment if certified
Ability to lift and move merchandise safely up to 44 pounds
Demonstrated teamwork and independent work skills

Job Duties

Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact
Engage with guests in a genuine way, including asking questions to understand their needs
Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to improve guest experience
Thank the guest genuinely and ensure they feel welcomed
Assist guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
Work in all departments to ensure sales floor is stocked, zoned, and in good condition
Push and stock products to sales floor
Execute adjacency changes, transitions, revisions, and sales plans for all departments
Conduct weekly price changes and ensure accurate signage for all departments
Complete scans and system audits to ensure inventory accuracy
Support execution of major transitions and store maintenance tasks
Maintain cleanliness and brand standards in interior and exterior areas
Accurately execute product pulls and process inbound deliveries
Perform daily and weekly backroom audits
Operate power equipment if certified
Maintain backroom organization and follow equipment guidelines
Follow processes with attention to detail and prioritize tasks
Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
Work safely and identify hazards
Support guest services like backup cashier, order pickup, and drive-up
Perform other duties based on business needs
