Job Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- capable of climbing ladders and performing physically demanding tasks
- able to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
- willing to work in varying temperature and weather conditions
- ability to remain mobile for entire shift
- accurately handle cash register operations when needed
- flexible work schedule including peak shopping times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- experience or ability to operate handheld scanners and technology equipment
- strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
- attention to detail in following multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- familiarity with retail business fundamentals beneficial
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- engage with guests to solve their specific needs
- thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- maintain knowledge of tools, products, and services to improve guest experience
- help guests while completing workload with minimal disruption
- work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned, and stocked
- assist with truck unload process and stock products
- update merchandise displays in all departments
- conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signing accuracy
- complete inventory scans and system audits
- support execution of major store transitions
- maintain interior and exterior brand cleanliness
- execute all inventory fills accurately
- process all inbound deliveries using inventory systems
- complete backroom audits
- operate powered equipment if certified
- maintain backroom organization and location accuracy
- follow detailed processes and prioritize tasks
- demonstrate ethical conduct and safety compliance
- work safely and report hazards
- support guest services including cashiering and order pickup
- perform all other duties based on business needs
