Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a 10-year background check to obtain an airport badge
- Ability to read and work from diagrams
- Experience with diesel engines
- Ability to differentiate colors in wiring, including red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white, and orange

Job Duties
- Conduct regular inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs on ground support equipment, including baggage loaders, tow tractors, pushback tractors, portable power units, and forklifts
- Utilize fleet management software to keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, parts used, and hours spent on each task
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring all tools, equipment, and parts are properly stored and readily accessible
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to ground support equipment maintenance and repair
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and external vendors to coordinate repairs, procure parts, and resolve technical issues
- Drive vehicles weighing up to ten tons (up to forty tons in select assignments) in congested areas requiring good depth perception and ability to distinguish colors
- Operate a variety of tools, including power tools, to assemble, disassemble, repair, and install parts and components
- Read and interpret printed or computerized maintenance manuals and complete required paperwork
- Regulate own work with little supervision and accomplish tasks independently
