Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of past sales experience preferred
  • Previous hospitality industry experience
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Delphi.fdc software preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and execute action plans
  • Must be sales-driven and goal-oriented

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years sales experience preferred
  • Previous hospitality experience including hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, or event spaces
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Delphi.fdc preferred
  • Ability to think outside the box and use initiative to solve problems
  • Sales-driven and goal-oriented
  • Association market experience preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments

Job Duties

  • Develop business and maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel
  • Solicit new group sales accounts and maintain relationships with existing accounts
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, and Food and Beverage partners
  • Handle account details ensuring all solicitation and closing aspects are complete
  • Coordinate various departments' participation in servicing accounts
  • Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
  • Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the lodge, and review competition
  • Prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients as appropriate
