Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with computer systems and software
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to participate in training programs
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead meetings
  • Commitment to Hyatt's values of respect, integrity, humility, empathy, creativity and fun

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
  • Proficiency in general computer knowledge
  • Completion of Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent preferred
  • Training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to customer groups
  • Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
  • Solicit and generate new business
  • Prepare and present effective proposals
  • Maintain organized documentation and reports
  • Utilize Hyatt systems for sales and customer service coordination
  • Participate and lead event, sales and staff meetings
