Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of hotel sales or comparable experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and software
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Willingness to participate in training programs
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead meetings
- Commitment to Hyatt's values of respect, integrity, humility, empathy, creativity and fun
Job Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- Proficiency in general computer knowledge
- Completion of Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent preferred
- Training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills preferred
Job Duties
- Sell guest rooms, meeting space and Hyatt services to customer groups
- Manage accounts and conduct site inspections
- Solicit and generate new business
- Prepare and present effective proposals
- Maintain organized documentation and reports
- Utilize Hyatt systems for sales and customer service coordination
- Participate and lead event, sales and staff meetings
