Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- 2 or more years of group sales experience in an independent or luxury lifestyle hotel setting
- pre-opening experience is a strong advantage
- demonstrated ability to generate leads, close contracts, and exceed group room night goals
- ability and willingness to travel to attend client meetings, events, and industry functions
- high proficiency in CRM platforms
- excellent communication and negotiation skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new group business opportunities from corporate, incentive, and lifestyle-aligned accounts
- Leverage industry network and develop strategic relationships to drive brand visibility in key domestic and international feeder markets
- Interpret market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform go-to-market sales strategies specific to an independent luxury positioning
- Build and maintain long-term, high-value client relationships with personalized solutions
- Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, client events, site visits, and sales missions
- Plan and execute familiarization trips and pre-opening presentations conveying the hotel’s vision and service philosophy
- Respond to RFPs with tailored proposals aligned with both client goals and the hotel’s capabilities
- Collaborate with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to translate client needs into deliverable programs
- Support the development of sales tools, branded assets, and pipeline reports during the pre-opening phase
- Contribute to the creation of pre-opening sales processes and CRM data structure
- Attend internal business planning, revenue strategy, and training sessions to ensure readiness on opening day
- Maintain accurate and timely client and prospect data in CRM platforms
