Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- 2 or more years of group sales experience in an independent or luxury lifestyle hotel setting
- demonstrated ability to generate leads, close contracts, and exceed group room night goals
- skilled in consultative sales, client storytelling, and proposal creation
- high proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- self-starter with a high degree of ownership, flexibility, and creativity
- ability and willingness to travel to attend client meetings and industry functions
- ability to develop and maintain sales processes to maximize revenue
- strong knowledge of sales techniques with ability to negotiate and close sales
- ability to determine customer needs and present sales options persuasively
- discretion with confidential information

Job Duties
- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new group business opportunities from corporate, incentive, and lifestyle-aligned accounts
- leverage industry network and develop strategic relationships to drive brand visibility in key markets
- interpret market trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to inform sales strategies
- build and maintain long-term, high-value client relationships
- represent the hotel at industry trade shows, client events, site visits, and sales missions
- plan and execute familiarization trips and pre-opening presentations
- respond to RFPs with tailored proposals
- collaborate with revenue, marketing, and operations teams to align client needs and deliverables
- support the development of sales tools and pipeline reports during pre-opening
- contribute to creation of pre-opening sales processes, SOPs, and CRM data structure
- attend internal business planning, revenue strategy, and training sessions
- maintain accurate client and prospect data in CRM platforms
