Job Requirements
- 5+ years of hotel group sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, hospitality, business, or related field
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe tools
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM
- Ability to work remotely with regular visits to properties
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Passion for outdoor, culinary, recreation, or wellness space
- Familiarity with resort destinations and seasonality trends
- Excellent client relationship management skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in sales, hospitality, business, or related field
- Over 5 years of hotel group sales experience with a proven track record of driving revenue and cultivating repeat business
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Adobe tools
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Passion for outdoor, culinary, recreation, or wellness industries
- Familiarity with resort destinations, seasonality trends, and mountain communities
Job Duties
- Proactively prospect and convert group room blocks for corporate, leisure, social, and association markets
- Conduct site tours, virtual tours, and presentations showcasing guest rooms, amenities, and property experiences
- Manage room block reservations from contracting through post-stay reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with the front office and housekeeping leadership teams to ensure seamless group arrivals
- Sell, plan, and service all food and beverage events including meetings, receptions, weddings, and member activations
- Create detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and work cross-departmentally with culinary and service teams to ensure flawless execution
- Guide clients through menu selection, event flow, setup options, décor partnerships, and upsell opportunities
- Monitor event profitability, ensuring food and beverage minimums and upsell targets are met or exceeded
- Lead pre-con meetings and post-event wrap-ups to ensure high client satisfaction and continuous improvements
- Partner with the general manager and food and beverage director to forecast food and beverage event revenue and refine event offerings
- Ensure all event spaces are maintained to brand standards and prepared for client viewings
- Oversee event day-of support, greeting clients, troubleshooting, and ensuring memorable experiences
- Maintain pipeline, track and report key metrics including conversion rate, pace, projected revenue, and event profitability
- Identify opportunities to package rooms and experiences and food and beverage for unique Gravity Haus group offerings
- Participate in revenue management meetings and provide insight on group pace and demand
- Own and update all sales opportunities in the Gravity Haus customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Uphold brand standards and ensure every group receives exemplary service
- Manage and own billing for accuracy, timeliness, and reconciliation
- Serve as a role model for exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and work ethic
- Jump into a variety of roles as needed to ensure successful execution of events and guest satisfaction
