Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years hotel group sales experience
  • proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • effective selling and negotiating skills
  • strong business writing and presentation skills
  • ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • travel in and out of state as needed
  • good communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 2 years hotel group sales experience
  • experience with resort group sales is a plus
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • skills in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentations
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and satisfy client needs
  • willingness to travel in and out of state as required

Job Duties

  • sell guest rooms to group customers
  • sell meeting space and other Hyatt services
  • manage client accounts and maintain relationships
  • conduct site inspections for potential events
  • prepare and present sales proposals
  • maintain organized documentation and sales reports using Hyatt systems
  • prospect for new business and meet quarterly sales goals
