Job Requirements
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in group sales in the luxury hospitality market
- Proven selling skills and achievements
- Ability to manage time effectively and communicate well
- Flexibility to work in a 24-hour operation environment
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Professional business appearance and demeanor aligned with brand culture
Job Qualifications
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in a field of study related to this profession
- Demonstrated selling skills
- Proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest engagement and financial performance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in group sales within the luxury hospitality market
- Exceptional skills related to business acumen, time management, written and verbal communication, prioritization, attention to details, problem-solving, public presentations, follow-up and thoroughness
- Prior experience with Tripleseat and HMS or similar Property Management System is preferred
Job Duties
- Analyze data, qualify, and perform targeted prospecting for new business
- Attend appropriate industry tradeshows as a sales representative
- Attend domestic and international tradeshows for networking and exposure purposes
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and hotel team to achieve inspiring guest experiences
- Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
- Maintain focus on future booking pace from established and potential accounts
- Maintain professional and appropriate business appearance and demeanor aligned with the 1 Hotel brand and culture
