Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years hospitality sales experience
- knowledge of local market and competitive landscape
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- willingness to travel for business
- ability to negotiate contracts under supervision
- passion for customer relationship management
Job Qualifications
- possess a solid background of at least 2 years in hospitality sales
- have an in depth understanding of the business, competitive landscape and the local market
- be personable and persuasive
- possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- be organized and able to multi-task
- have a passion for selling and building long term relationships with prospective guests
Job Duties
- maintain and nurture a portfolio of accounts to maximize business for the hotel
- travel to key markets to develop new business and maintain existing relationships
- promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows
- negotiate, prepare, and review terms of contracts for hotel services in compliance with hotel billing and rate guidelines under supervision of director of sales
- meet or exceed targets for prospecting of sales opportunities and targets for revenue streams as determined by hotel management
