Job Requirements

  • minimum of 2 years hospitality sales experience
  • knowledge of local market and competitive landscape
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • willingness to travel for business
  • ability to negotiate contracts under supervision
  • passion for customer relationship management

Job Qualifications

  • possess a solid background of at least 2 years in hospitality sales
  • have an in depth understanding of the business, competitive landscape and the local market
  • be personable and persuasive
  • possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • be organized and able to multi-task
  • have a passion for selling and building long term relationships with prospective guests

Job Duties

  • maintain and nurture a portfolio of accounts to maximize business for the hotel
  • travel to key markets to develop new business and maintain existing relationships
  • promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows
  • negotiate, prepare, and review terms of contracts for hotel services in compliance with hotel billing and rate guidelines under supervision of director of sales
  • meet or exceed targets for prospecting of sales opportunities and targets for revenue streams as determined by hotel management
