Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years hospitality sales experience
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail with effective business communication
- Creative thinking and innovative problem solving
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in mathematical computations
- Technical skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to conduct client research and stay updated on industry trends
- Willingness and ability to travel including overnight stays and client entertainment

Job Qualifications

- Mathematical proficiency including basic operations and calculations
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and Excel
- Knowledge of hospitality sales platforms is a plus
- Proficiency in client research and market trend analysis
- Ability to travel for client meetings and events
- Commitment to adhere to company policies
Job Duties
- Meet and exceed sales goals of assigned market segments through proactive sales efforts
- Achieve revenue goals by developing sales plans, managing client relationships, networking, and identifying new markets
- Maintain accurate and timely records in Sales & Events database
- Report weekly sales achievements and adjust goals based on market conditions
- Solicit and secure new business through outside sales calls
- Participate in trade shows, promotional and industry events
- Conduct site inspections and client presentations
- Respond to inbound requests for proposals within 24 hours
- Negotiate client contracts and close sales
- Differentiate from competition by adding value to clients
- Implement sales plans to maximize market share
- Ensure seamless client experience from sales to event management
- Achieve assigned goals and objectives
- Maximize time management and productivity
- Forecast revenues of assigned groups
- Develop and maintain favorable internal and external relationships
- Comply with accounting standards including deposits, billing, and pre-payment
- Confirm revenue posting and client billing accuracy
- Learn and follow all applicable company standards, policies, and procedures
- Attend required meetings
- Achieve client satisfaction goals
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned based on business needs
