Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years as a sales manager in upscale, lifestyle or luxury hospitality
  • professional proficiency in English reading, writing and verbal communication
  • ability to work collaboratively with leadership and sales teams
  • demonstrated capacity to manage complex sales and marketing plans
  • experience in boutique or independent hotels preferred
  • bachelor’s degree in related field preferred but not required
  • strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years as a sales manager within upscale, lifestyle or luxury hospitality
  • bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications or hospitality preferred
  • experience in boutique-lifestyle or independent hotel companies is a plus
  • professional proficiency in English
  • strong leadership and team coaching skills
  • strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • proven ability to manage sales forecasting and revenue optimization
  • competency in collaborating with multiple stakeholders and adapting to dynamic market conditions

Job Duties

  • Uphold and role model the company’s principles of People, Place and Character
  • ensure team and peers also embody company values driving collaboration, intuition and translocal hospitality
  • build and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders and Leadership Team peers
  • understand the hotel’s brand and aspirations through established practices and project brand voice
  • lead sales department in executing sales and marketing plans and refine revenue forecasting
  • coach Leadership Team members and facilitate learning and development
  • maximize hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies and market analysis
  • adjust short-term sales strategies while maintaining focus on long-term goals
  • communicate frequently with Aparium Headquarters to align initiatives and ensure accurate reporting and forecasting
  • set and implement annual sales goals and maintain incentive documentation
  • coordinate sales activities to maximize sales and optimize need periods
  • develop annual budget and sales and marketing plan with General Manager and Controller
  • evaluate, solicit, sell, and confirm business in assigned market to meet sales and profitability goals
