Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • possess a solid background of at least 2 years in hospitality sales
  • have an in depth understanding of the business, competitive landscape and the local market
  • are personable, persuasive and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • are organized and can multi-task
  • have a passion for selling and love to foster long term relationships with prospective guests

Job Duties

  • maintain and nurture a portfolio of accounts to maximize business for the hotel
  • travel to key markets to develop new business and maintain existing relationships
  • promote high visibility of hotel through active involvement in industry associations and trade shows
  • negotiate, prepare, and review terms of contracts for hotel services in compliance with hotel billing and rate guidelines and under supervision of Director of Sales
  • meet or exceed targets for prospecting of sales opportunities and targets for revenue streams, as determined by hotel management
