Job Requirements

  • a bachelor’s degree or minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales experience
  • must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • prefer completion of Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
  • prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • self-starter with strong organizational skills
  • ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • resilient problem-solver who remains composed when navigating challenging client situations
  • collaborative team player who brings positive energy, adaptability and a can-do spirit
  • strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • receptive to feedback with willingness to learn and apply it toward continuous improvement

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • selling guest rooms
  • selling meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups
  • total account management ensuring clients are well cared for
  • conduct site inspections
  • prepare and present effective proposals
  • maintain well organized documentation and reports in Hyatt proprietary systems
  • travel to attend events and conduct outside sales calls
  • coordinate customer service requirements
  • participate and may lead event meetings and sales staff meetings
  • support Operation Teams during high volume moments through the lobby ambassador program
