Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- minimum of 2 years sales experience in hospitality industry
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- ability to travel locally and occasionally for client events
- results-driven with a strong sense of urgency
- customer-focused and relationship-oriented
- organized with attention to detail
- team player with collaboration skills
- adaptability and resourcefulness in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in group sales or event sales
- proven ability to develop and close business
- strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems such as Hilton OnQ R&I, Delphi
- ability to travel locally and occasionally for tradeshows or client events
Job Duties
- Proactively solicit and secure new group business through sales calls, prospecting, networking, and attending industry events or trade shows
- manage existing accounts, ensuring repeat business and building long-term client relationships
- respond promptly to group inquiries and prepare customized proposals, contracts, and follow-up communications
- conduct site inspections and presentations for potential clients
- collaborate with the revenue management and operations teams to ensure optimal room block management, space utilization, and group rate integrity
- maintain accurate records in the sales CRM including account details, activities, and booking progress
- meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
- participate in weekly sales strategy and revenue meetings
- represent the hotel professionally in the community and with industry organizations
