Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a sales manager in upscale, lifestyle or luxury hospitality
  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications or hospitality preferred though not required with director role experience
  • Experience working within boutique-lifestyle or independent hotel settings preferred
  • Professional proficiency in English in reading, writing and verbal communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and tenacity
  • Knowledge of hotel sales processes and market analysis

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Uphold and role model the company’s principles of People, Place and Character
  • ensure your team and peers also model these values
  • Build and maintain trusting and transparent relationships with all stakeholders and leadership peers
  • Understand and embody the hotel’s brand and aspirations
  • Lead and direct the sales department in developing and executing sales and marketing plans
  • Refine revenue forecasting and provide creative strategies to drive sales initiatives
  • Coach leadership team members to creatively solve problems and support development
  • Maximize hotel revenue through effective pricing strategies based on market analysis
  • Pivot short-term strategy without compromising long-term goals
  • Establish regular communication with Aparium Headquarters to execute marketing plans and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Craft annual sales goals and monitor achievement
  • Direct sales activities to maximize bookings
  • Collaborate on annual budget and sales & marketing plan development
  • Evaluate and secure business in assigned market area to meet sales and profitability goals
