Job Requirements
- Education to high school diploma or equivalent
- two years experience in facility group sales, box office or marketing
- two years supervisory experience
- proficiency in Ticketmaster software and Microsoft Office
- strong organizational and communication skills
- ability to handle multiple tasks
- must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- ability to meet deadlines under pressure
- excellent interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Two years experience in facility group sales, box office or marketing
- two years prior supervisory experience
- B.S. in marketing, public relations or business preferred
- excellent organizational and communication skills
- knowledge of marketing and sales strategies
- excellent interpersonal skills
- proficiency in Ticketmaster software such as Archtics, Host, TM1
- familiarity with Excel, Windows and Microsoft Office
- understanding of financial and ticket office procedures
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- effective oral and written communication skills
- ability to organize and prioritize work
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- multitasking abilities
- ability to work independently using judgment and initiative
- willingness to stay current with training and new systems
Job Duties
- Sell subscriptions for Best of Broadway and POPS! season tickets
- act as concierge at all Broadway and POPS! subscriber performances
- maintain subscriber benefits
- develop and maintain a group sales database using demographic and market research analysis
- organize and execute bulk mailing, faxing, telemarketing, emailing and other promotions
- work with marketing to develop and distribute verbiage for sales campaigns
- actively solicit group sales clients by contacting corporations, scouts, schools and businesses
- coordinate group ticket sales with box office and show promoters
- prepare group sales event settlement for promoters
- assist with marketing programs and promotions for events
- monitor and report group sales activity
- represent the building at trade shows and promotional events
- create and distribute group order forms for shows with group pricing
- provide customer service to subscribers via phone and email
- process subscription tickets for equitable seat assignment
- assist subscribers with additional ticketing needs
- organize and maintain lists for seat and parking requests
- contact subscribers regarding seating changes
- manage Ticketmaster software efficiently
- handle inbound and outbound group sales initiatives
- sell group tickets to subscribers and the public
- assist with venue comps and event shifts
- support ticket office managers with general inquiries
- coordinate with guest services on accessibility needs
- maintain effective working relationships
- work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- perform other duties as assigned
