Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and supplies as needed
- ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods of time
- ability to set up and break down event spaces including tables and catering equipment
- ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during operating season
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience preferred
- food service, hospitality, or event experience preferred
- strong communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset
- ability to follow direction and adapt to changing priorities throughout the day
- ability to remain organized and detail-oriented in a busy event environment
- ability to work independently or as part of a team as needed
- strong problem-solving skills and willingness to support multiple departments as required
- ability to provide professional and positive guest service in all situations
Job Duties
- Provide direct support to the Group Sales Manager in all aspects of group events and catering operations
- assist with event coordination and logistics including preparation, setup, execution, and breakdown of group events
- support client communication as needed including responding to inquiries or assisting with event details under the direction of the Group Sales Manager
- help prepare event materials such as signage, layouts, and service plans
- physically set up catering areas including tables, serving lines, and equipment
- step into service roles during events as needed such as serving food, managing stations, assisting guests
- operate a cash register and provide guest service during non-event periods
- assist in kitchen operations including food prep, portioning, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness
- monitor and restock catering supplies and assist with inventory organization
- respond to real-time operational needs and fill gaps in staffing across catering, group sales, or food service areas
