Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • minimum 1 year of relevant experience preferred
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • ability to work weekdays during business hours with occasional overtime
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • must be able to stand at least 60% of the time
  • must be able to sit and squat frequently
  • able to safely perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA, and related standards
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent education required
  • bachelors degree preferred
  • opera cloud experience preferred but not required
  • minimum 1 year of sales coordinator, catering/events coordinator, or front desk experience preferred but not required
  • delphi experience preferred but not required
  • experience in luxury hotels or a related field preferred
  • must be able to communicate fluently in English for both written and verbal communications
  • proficiency with computer systems
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, TEAMS, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • ability to work weekdays during business hours of 8am-5pm with occasional overtime as requested

Job Duties

  • Answer and qualify incoming phone calls, email inquiries, and in-person appointments within a timely, professional, and efficient manner
  • arrange and co-ordinate meetings, events and any appointments and collect and distribute detailed notes
  • meet with clients in the absence of the sales team to effectively and professionally convey details of the sale to the client
  • manage and update bookings, events, and reporting in Delphi
  • build group blocks in the system, ensuring any contract is adhered to including any contracted concessions
  • make reservations efficiently and accurately in the system for all sales-related reservation requests noting any special requests
  • manage group cut-off dates, build reservation links, input rooming lists, manage amenity requests, process billing and payments, and audit bookings
