Job Duties
- Assist hotel group guests from pre-arrival through departure
- process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail
- identify guest reservation needs and verify room availability and rates
- explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers
- accommodate and document special requests
- set up proper billing accounts according to accounting policies
- prepare, review, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
- provide excellent service to internal and external customers
- ensure compliance with standard and local operating procedures
- work closely with various departments and outside entities to achieve successful groups
- follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
- report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
- welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards
- anticipate and address guests’ service needs
- assist individuals with disabilities
- answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- prepare and review written documents accurately
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- support team to reach common goals
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
