Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- or 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 3 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
- ability to use computers and computer systems effectively
- strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 5 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area
- or 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience in relevant fields
- strong customer service skills
- proficient in using computer systems and software
- knowledge of accounts receivable and credit policies
- ability to manage projects and policies
- excellent communication skills
Job Duties
- Manages the operational preparation for all group bookings including guest deposits and room blocks
- verifies and documents group rooming lists and releases unused inventory for general sale
- manages accounts receivable operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices
- follows up on delinquent accounts
- acts as primary Rooms Division contact in advance planning meetings and related events
- provides reports and communications to Sales, Convention Services, and other departments
- applies accounting knowledge to credit management issues
