Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • or 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • 3 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area
  • ability to use computers and computer systems effectively
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 5 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, front desk, or related area
  • or 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major with 3 years experience in relevant fields
  • strong customer service skills
  • proficient in using computer systems and software
  • knowledge of accounts receivable and credit policies
  • ability to manage projects and policies
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Manages the operational preparation for all group bookings including guest deposits and room blocks
  • verifies and documents group rooming lists and releases unused inventory for general sale
  • manages accounts receivable operations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices
  • follows up on delinquent accounts
  • acts as primary Rooms Division contact in advance planning meetings and related events
  • provides reports and communications to Sales, Convention Services, and other departments
  • applies accounting knowledge to credit management issues
