Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Sales Hospitality or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality sales with focus on group sales or Frisco market preferred
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple sales and event projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Business acumen and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently as an individual contributor
  • Must comply with Environmental Health and Safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication and presentational skills
  • Technical acumen to navigate point-of-sale and CRM systems including Salesforce Delphi Amadeus Space Management BEO and Horizon SAP POS ticketing system
  • Knowledge and experience in Frisco Dallas and surrounding areas hospitality or event industry preferred
  • Exhibits sound judgement and confidence in business decisions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook
  • Consistent attendance

Job Duties

  • Develops solicits and negotiates group bookings through direct outreach special promotions lead follow up networking and engagement with professional associations and memberships to achieve objectives for sales volume and revenue
  • Drives hotel occupancy by packaging room blocks with special events and park access team building activities and meal options
  • Promotes Universal Kids Resort services including the theme park and hotel by conducting tours of the facilities
  • Prepares custom sales proposals and negotiates service contracts to reflect the requirements of prospective clients
  • Creates manages and distributes reports to communicate sales data and insights
  • Utilizes Salesforce for lead generation account management and tracking sales activity
  • Maintains resort knowledge and stays informed about industry trends competitive offerings and emerging event technologies
