Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel rarely or regularly to assist other properties or attend meetings as required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required to operate a golf cart on property
- Prior experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, and carrying weights up to 25 pounds independently
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area as applicable, and clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by Service Supervisor and/or Community Manager, and assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Change all locks in accordance with the property’s policy and ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation for residents, team members, guests and others
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
- Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk-management policies by attending and participating in routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety related laws and requirements, and by reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately
