Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- ability to perform physical labor standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined spaces
- ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- willing to work flexible schedule including call duty during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- able to travel rarely to other properties or training as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- good communication and customer service skills
- capability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in varied weather
- basic knowledge of safety and OSHA regulations
Job Duties
- Inspect the community regularly to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
- remove trash and items from vacant apartments before make-ready process
- complete assigned minor and routine service requests
- assist the make-ready specialist with unit turnovers
- change all locks in accordance with property policy and ensure pool gates meet safety codes
- distribute notices and communications to residents
- inform supervisors of hazards or potentially dangerous situations
- demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents respectfully and responding to maintenance concerns
- comply with Greystar's safety and risk-management policies including participating in safety meetings and training
