Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods and bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, and sleet
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexible work schedule including availability for call during evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to travel occasionally for training or assistance at other properties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred
- Ability to operate a golf cart with a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of safety standards and risk management
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks and work in various weather conditions
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments prior to starting the make-ready process, transfer trash to dumpster or storage area, and clean and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as directed by Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make-ready specialist in the turnover process
- Change all locks in accordance with property policy and ensure gates to pool areas comply with safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Inform supervisors of any hazards or dangerous situations for residents, team members, or guests
- Demonstrate customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services
