Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to attend safety meetings and complete training on OSHA and related safety laws
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or property maintenance is beneficial but not required
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property
- Ability to perform physical tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, climbing, lifting, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of safety and risk management practices
Job Duties
- Inspect the community to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings and ensure common areas and amenities are neat and litter-free
- Remove trash and leftover items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process and maintain storage areas
- Complete assigned minor and routine service requests and assist make-ready specialist in the turn process
- Change all locks according to property policy and ensure pool gates meet safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary
- Inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations
- Demonstrate customer service skills by respectfully answering resident questions and responding to maintenance complaints
