Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods
- Ability to bend stoop climb ladders reach carry and crawl
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- Flexible schedule including availability for evenings weekends and holidays
- Willingness to travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
- Ability to operate golf cart and basic equipment
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter debris and pet droppings
- Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before make-ready process
- Transfer trash to dumpster or storage area and maintain storage areas
- Complete minor and routine service requests as directed
- Assist make-ready specialist in turn process
- Change all locks according to property policy
- Ensure gates to pool areas comply with codes and safety standards
- Distribute notices and communications to residents
- Inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations
- Demonstrate customer service by treating residents with respect and responding to maintenance complaints
- Comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending meetings and training
- Report accidents and incidents promptly
