Job Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to stand walk and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to bend stoop climb ladders reach carry and crawl
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
  • Flexible schedule including availability for evenings weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to assist other properties or attend training

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous groundskeeping or maintenance experience preferred
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Basic knowledge of safety standards and procedures
  • Ability to operate golf cart and basic equipment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter debris and pet droppings
  • Remove trash and items from vacant apartments before make-ready process
  • Transfer trash to dumpster or storage area and maintain storage areas
  • Complete minor and routine service requests as directed
  • Assist make-ready specialist in turn process
  • Change all locks according to property policy
  • Ensure gates to pool areas comply with codes and safety standards
  • Distribute notices and communications to residents
  • Inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations
  • Demonstrate customer service by treating residents with respect and responding to maintenance complaints
  • Comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending meetings and training
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly
