Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and carry objects up to 25 pounds independently
  • ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to operate a golf cart
  • commitment to safety protocols
  • good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings
  • ensure all common areas and amenities are neat and free of litter at all times
  • remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process
  • transfer trash to dumpster or storage area and maintain storage areas
  • complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by supervisor
  • assist the make-ready specialist in the turn process
  • change all locks in accordance with property policy
  • ensure pool gates work according to safety standards
  • distribute notices and communications to residents
  • inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations
  • treat residents with respect and respond to maintenance complaints sensitively
  • comply with safety and risk-management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting incidents accurately
