Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in property maintenance or related field preferred
- valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- availability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to take on call duties
- ability to follow safety protocols and attend training
- reliable transportation to and from work
Job Qualifications
- valid drivers license to operate a golf cart on property
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
- ability to work in all weather conditions
- strong customer service skills
- basic knowledge of maintenance and safety procedures
- effective communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Inspect the community to remove litter, debris, and pet waste throughout the day
- maintain neatness of all common areas and amenities
- remove trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready process
- transfer trash to dumpsters or storage areas
- clean and maintain storage areas
- complete assigned minor and routine service requests
- assist make-ready specialist in apartment turnover process
- change locks per policy
- ensure pool area gates comply with codes and safety standards
- distribute notices and communications to residents
- report hazards or dangerous situations to supervisors
- deliver excellent customer service by treating residents respectfully and responding to maintenance complaints
- comply with safety policies and attend routine safety meetings
- complete required OSHA and safety training
- report accidents and incidents promptly
